Our veterinary team focuses on thorough diagnostic evaluation in order to tailor treatment options for you and your pet. We recommend pre-surgical screening to assess potential risks associated with anesthesia and surgery. We encourage wellness screening lab work as an important part of preventative health care for your pet. This includes screening for heartworm disease and tick-borne diseases, as well as metabolic changes that may occur in older pets.
The team has access to a suite of in-house lab machines that can be used to provide rapid results, but we often utilize our referral lab for more extensive testing. The referral lab has a rapid turnaround time.
East Haven Veterinary’s imaging services include a high-quality ultrasound machine for the assessment of internal organs and a digital x-ray machine for the production of state-of-the-art diagnostic images.
